Dawson Rogers
I was first introduced to pocket knives when I was six years old. My dad gave me a small keychain pocket knife, creating a lifelong fascination with knives. When I was sixteen, I saw a video of someone making a knife on YouTube, and it inspired me to try it myself. I asked my dad to take me to Princess auto to pick up an anvil, and that week, I started my journey of blacksmithing and knife making. In 2019, I attended Sir Standford Fleming College for artistic blacksmithing and earned my certification. I've been dedicated to the craft for over ten years now. Each knife I create is a commitment to excellence and my deep appreciation for this timeless art.
The name Wild Territory Blades reflects my passion for creating frontier-esque, rugged, and user-friendly knives. Each piece is crafted as a reliable tool meant to be used, embodying the spirit of the wild and the durability of frontier craftsmanship. Each knife at Wild Territory Blades is hand forged from 1084 carbon steel and undergoes complete in-house heat treatment, all personally done by me. I source the finest materials, including high-carbon steel and exotic hardwoods, to ensure that every piece, not only performs flawlessly, but also tells a unique story. The knives crafted at Wild Territory are renowned for their durability, sharpness and elegant designs, making them sought after by chefs, outdoorsmen, and collectors alike. Through Wild Territory Blades, I continue to elevate the art of knife-making, blending history, skill, and creativity to forge tools that are true works of art.
